Last week at the 18th Annual BIO-IT World Conference & Expo in Boston, MA., I shared a presentation titled “Wearable Technologies for Remote Data Collection in Clinical Trials.”
Wearable technologies are rapidly changing how clinical trials are designed and conducted along with how data is analyzed and interpreted. Moving disease assessments out of doctors’ offices offers several advantages, including smaller required sample sizes, and robust data sets that are more likely to reflect how study subjects respond to treatments in a natural environment.
During the discussion, I shared how Koneksa has successfully deployed remote digital assessments in clinical studies and highlighted the benefits of remote data collection.
