High-Resolution Measurement in Neuroscience Research

Episodic clinic visits can’t fully capture how neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases actually progress. Koneksa’s neuroscience measurement framework replaces snapshots with structured, high-frequency longitudinal systems, aligned to disease biology and built for regulatory-grade endpoints. It’s where we’ve done the most work: over one-third of Koneksa’s programs to date are neuroscience, including multiple Phase II and III studies across progressive and complex CNS conditions.

Why High-Frequency Capture Changes CNS Trials

Neurological symptoms fluctuate over hours and days, but conventional trial designs sample them a handful of times over months. That mismatch inflates variance, forces larger sample sizes, and lets standard-of-care effects blur treatment signal. Capturing motor, cognitive, speech, sleep, and functional data continuously in daily life changes the math: within-subject variability shrinks through repeated sampling, trajectories replace snapshots, and mixed-effects models can separate disease progression from medication state and treatment effect. The same architecture holds up operationally, with device provisioning, centralized monitoring, and sponsor EDC integration, including Medidata, aligned from protocol initiation through database lock. The result is data that is not just bigger but more interpretable, supporting regulatory-facing analyses in complex CNS protocols.

Inside the Measurement Overview
