Our commitment

Koneksa Health is committed to making koneksahealth.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor, whether a sponsor, site, partner, patient, or candidate, to be able to find information about our platform, services, and research without barriers.

Standard we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have limited mobility, or have cognitive or learning disabilities.

What we have done

  • Adjusted text and button colors so they meet WCAG contrast requirements, while keeping the Koneksa brand palette.
  • Made the main navigation and its dropdown menus usable with a keyboard alone.
  • Added visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
  • Enabled pinch-to-zoom on phones and tablets.
  • Added text alternatives to meaningful images and accessible names to icon-only links and buttons.
  • Made animations respect the “reduce motion” setting on your device.
  • Tested every page of the site with automated accessibility tools on desktop and mobile.

Known limitations

We are continuing to improve the site. Some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, including:

  • Older PDF documents in our Resource Library, which may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
  • Embedded video content, where captions may not be available for every video.
  • Content provided by third parties, such as our cookie consent banner and embedded tools, which we do not fully control.
