As a Senior Statistician, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and utilize data enabled by technology such as wearable devices, app-based assessments and patient reported outcomes or questionnaires. You will be responsible for providing statistical design and execution of analysis in commercial / industry clinical studies and data management. You will be expected to significantly contribute to project go/no-go decisions on the basis of results you deliver. The successful candidate is equally at home with statistics as a formal discipline and as a tool to further clinical research.
This role will be part of the Biostatistics team reporting to the Manager of Biostatistics.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design of clinical studies
Generate statistical analysis plans (SAP)
Execute statistical analysis plans inc. generation of presentation ready TLF
Create reports, summarizing the findings of analysis for internal and external clients
Contribute to peer-reviewed scientific publications and presentations
Communicate findings verbally and/or in writing to broad audiences
Represent Koneksa at conferences, presenting analysis
Requirements and Experience
PhD in statistics
3+ years experience in the design and execution of statistical analysis plans for interventional and observational studies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for broad audiences
Proficient in your choice of R and/or Python programming language(s) plus working competency in the other language
Experience processing both traditional (e.g. EDC) and high frequency (e.g. sensor) clinical data
Highly organized self starter with a keen attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multitask across several projects
Curiosity and a voracious appetite to learn and apply learning
